If you know me, you know that I’m obsessed with peppermint. I’ll go as far as buying peppermint candles, peppermint air freshener, & all of my perfumes/lotions/body care are ALL peppermint or peppermint mocha scented. I have an obsession. I can’t stop. So today I made my own DIY peppermint mocha creamer for my coffees. I have tested and trialed a lot of recipes, and this one takes the cake. It’s BEAUTIFUL. I’ll probably blog about it later and share my recipe….stay tuned. #peppermintobsession #peppermintmocha #ladybirdblogs

Holiday concerts spreading joy of song across OKC

December in OKC brings a slate of festive holiday shows, with string quartet-backed raps, country traditions, jazz favorites, and an annual hip-hop institution.

I don't really wanna make this place into a mental health russian roulette, but I'm also distraught by a news story that broke in the past 24 hours. I wonder what the LavishMade equivalent to "vaguebooking" would be. "LaVague-posting?" Nah. I guess I'll just share this story about local holiday concerts. I'd really like to see the Tripharmonix one on Sunday, but I have plans & I don't have any formal wear to meet the dress code anyway. https://www.freepressokc.com/holiday-concerts-spreading-joy-of-song-across-okc/

I didn’t do a great job of logging all the books I read this year. New goal for 2026 is to log all my books. Started this one tonight.

This book utterly destroyed me, but in a way that opened my eyes to things I overlook. I can’t wait to see the film. More times than I care to admit, while reading this one, tears were openly flowing down my face. It was a good purge of emotions. 10/10

I don't understand how its already Thursday!!! This week has been a blur. #busy #movingtoofast

And to top off an already low week, my kiddo has a viral infection. #whyarewaitingroomssoscary #ick

Stumbled across this site about two weeks ago. Do love that privacy is a little more granular. Wish I had the bandwidth to maintain multiple sites and explore more here.

Got to watch my big girl play the glockenspiel at her winter concert! She’s so cool.

Currently knitting a chunky scarf for myself. I'm halfway through & enjoying this hobby SO much. Any other knit circle friends on Lavish? I'm wanting to have a knit n bitch party! #knitting #knitnbitch #ladybirdblogs #ladybirdknits
