I recently decided that I shouldn't wait around for anyone to ask me about my filmmaking, that I should take my life as a filmmaker into my own hands. A part of that process has been revamping my YouTube Channel. It's now @TheTimKail, and it has most of the short films I've ever made dating back to high school. I also gave my social media the @TheTimKail handle as a part of this rebranding.
I also decided it would be fun (and offer an unprecedented level of access into an indie artist's mind) if I provided audio commentary to each of my shorts. I'm gradually making my way through them. I open up about the creative decisions I made and I'm transparent about where I made mistakes. I want my YouTube to look and feel like a little Criterion Channel.
