May the poetry of
Resistance to oppression,
The hymns of ever possible joy,
And the relentless chorus
Of living justice
Be the verses
We recite.

Care work is exhausting, necessary, life-changing, highly skilled, emotional, sometimes a job, sometimes a calling, and filled with moments of mundane magnificence.

To rest the body is to amplify the spirit.
You are worth so much more than your productivity.
