Save pages from anywhere on the web to a Deep Dive

Deep Dives article

Save a page from anywhere on the web to one of your Deep Dives with the LavishMade browser extension. Find an article, a video or a podcast, click the extension, pick a collection, done.

Install from the Chrome Web Store

The extension is published for Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers. One click installs it.

Add to Chrome

Firefox and Safari are not supported yet. On those browsers, use "Add Item From URL" inside a Deep Dive instead.

Quick start

  1. Install the extension and pin it to your browser toolbar
  2. Click the extension icon and sign in with your LavishMade account
  3. Browse to any page you want to keep
  4. Click the icon, pick a Deep Dive (or create a new one right there)
  5. Add an optional note and click "Add to Deep Dive"

How it works

  1. Captures the page. The extension takes the URL of the tab you are on.
  2. Fetches the details. Title, author, description and a preview image are pulled from the page.
  3. You pick the collection. Choose one of your Deep Dives, or create a new one from the extension.
  4. Add a note. Say why you are saving it, for your future self or for readers.
  5. Saved. The item lands in the collection with all of its details.

Troubleshooting

Sign-in fails

Check your email and password. If you have forgotten the password, reset it on LavishMade first.

Details not loading

Some sites block this. The URL is still saved and you can add the title and description yourself.

Extension not showing

Make sure it is enabled on your browser's extensions page, and pin it to the toolbar.

Session expired

Sign out of the extension and back in. It refreshes your session on its own when it can.
