I’m torn on Last Days. The pacing works like a fever dream, and the cast holds the quiet in a strange, hypnotic way. I’m not sure if I love this film or if my disdain for the tortured-artist myth is too strong.

These stories can risk excusing neglect and self-destruction as "the artist" instead of examining the WHY. Obviously, it’s a movie, so it’s curating the story it wants to tell. Like I said, I’m torn.
