Blog principles

How writing works on Lavish

Write like nobody's grading you.

Because here, they are not.

01

No house style

There is no correct way to sound here. Your blog sounds like you, even while you are still figuring out what that means.

02

Write before you're ready

You do not need a niche or audience plan. A Lavish blog starts with one thought and the courage to work it out in public.

03

Build a voice, not an audience

The metric is not followers or growth. Write for yourself first; connection is a side effect of honesty.

04

Short is fine

Three paragraphs of half-formed thinking still count. Not every post needs a formal structure to matter.

05

Nobody is performing here

This is a place to write without fear of being mocked for trying. The social contract is that everyone is figuring it out.

06

Your worst post is still yours

Polish is increasingly cheap. Human thinking in real time, even messy thinking, is what gives writing value.

07

Write like nobody's grading you

Because here, they are not.
