I want to give it more like 3.5 stars. Decent enough. It’s Rosemary’s Baby meets Salem’s Lot if it was written during Covid. A little on the nose sometimes with those two influences. Creepy and interesting setting and setup, but ultimately the main character’s actions—though justified and relatable—lead to an unsatisfying end.
