I have one shift left on my cardiac ICU contract in Tulsa and I’ve learned a lot in these last 13 weeks. . I’m tired and I’m judging three month younger me for this decision. . I’m actually quite smart and great under pressure, but also- . I need a nap, don’t anyone ask me what a cardiac index is, or a ficks calculation components, or what cm marking the swan is at, or what my patient’s admission weight in kg was. I’d like to do brain rot things for the next three months in contrast. That is all. Side note- these decomposition notebooks are rad and I’d like all the colors please.
I just finished reading Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle. As a self-proclaimed sissy, I was worried that this book would be too scary for me, but Tingle balances all of the horror with so much heart and the writing is excellent. I can’t wait to pick up more Tingle! As he would say, let’s trot!

Question of ethics and my philosophical thought of yesterday evening: Is it better to live by- 1.) “always eat pasta in your PJ’s” because you are proving to yourself life is about welcoming pasta stains because enjoying your pasta is more important while also being comfortable. 2.) “never have pasta in your pjs” because why compromise your pj’s or the ability to sloppily eat pasta Let me know
