We watched Midsommar yesterday (I know, 5 years late, but at least it was close to the solstice!) and I'm still thinking about it. It was such a well done movie with interesting themes of found family, grief, toxic relationships, tradition, etc. There were some parts I wished were expanded on, but overall great film. 🌼🌸🏵️🌼🌻

i love when "daylight horror" is done well. there's something so deeply unsettling about watching terrifying things happen with lots of sunshine and open air

I got Emily to watch it. It’s the strangest film in the best way. I don’t know what this says about me but there was a point where it was my fall asleep to a movie pick for weeks.

Honestly, I don't rewatch movies often and I felt like I could rewatch this one again and again. It's that fairytale vibe, I bet.
