My film shelf is now at 50 reviews. I never acclimated to Letterboxd, so it's nice to finally have a record of my life in movies, even if it's only been since December. It would be more than 50, but I haven't been including documentaries. I probably should, even if the ones I've seen haven't been particularly major events. I watched a doc about the Hong Kong umbrella movement, the Louis C.K. scandal, the artist Yayoi Kusama, the performance artist Wrinkles the Clown, and so on. None of them aspire to anything cinematic, just to inform and, well, document real world events and figures. I guess they'd all get a middling three stars from me, or I could do no ratings at all. Maybe I'll scratch my skull & scrounge up some memories of what I've seen to add to the Shelf. Also - I watched Here (2024) and Masters of the Universe (2026), but bafflingly, neither are in the database. If my submissions to correct that go nowhere, I'll note here that Here is an interesting, tedious failure that I wish someone other than Zemeckis made, and MofU is way better than it has any reason to be given its development hell. 2.5 stars & 4 stars respectively.

Ok, maybe Wrinkles the Clown did have aspirations, but it's no Exit Through the Gift Shop. It kinda wasted my time.
